Who is responsible for your data

This website is operated by Syed Zameer. Where this notice says “I”, it means the person running this site.

What is collected

Enquiry details. When you submit the contact form, these are recorded: your name, your WhatsApp or phone number, your email address and company name if you choose to provide them, the service you selected, an optional budget range, and the project details you write. The time of submission and the page the enquiry came from are also stored.

Technical context. A truncated browser user-agent string and the referring page are recorded with an enquiry for spam prevention and troubleshooting. IP addresses are not stored with enquiries. A short-lived in-memory counter per IP address is used to rate-limit abusive submissions; it is discarded within minutes and never written to storage.

Analytics, only with consent. If analytics is enabled on this site, nothing loads until you choose “Allow analytics”. When you do, page views and interaction events are recorded — such as a WhatsApp link being clicked or a form being started. Those events deliberately exclude personal information: no names, phone numbers, email addresses or message contents are ever sent to an analytics provider.

What is not collected

• No advertising or cross-site tracking pixels are installed on this site.
• No data is sold, rented or shared for marketing purposes.
• No profile is built about you across sessions for advertising.

Why it is collected

• To reply to your enquiry and, if relevant, to discuss a project with you.
• To keep the enquiry form working and free of automated spam.
• To understand which pages and content are useful, if you have consented to analytics.

How long it is kept

Enquiry records are kept for as long as they are needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting working relationship, and then for a reasonable period afterwards for accounting and reference purposes. If a project does not proceed, the enquiry is deleted on request. Analytics data is retained according to the retention setting of the analytics property — typically 14 months.

Who else is involved

Enquiries are stored and, where enabled, delivered through the infrastructure providers that host this site and the storage endpoint the site owner has configured. Analytics, if you consent to it, is processed by the configured analytics provider. These providers act on instruction and are bound by their own terms.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Requests go to the contact form at syedzameer.com/contact. Where local law grants additional rights — such as objecting to processing or requesting portability — those apply as well.

Cookies and local storage

This site sets no advertising cookies. One value is stored in your browser's local storage: your analytics choice, so the site doesn't ask you again. It contains no personal data and is created only if analytics is enabled on this site.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is transmitted to the server, validated, and written to the configured storage. Access to stored enquiries is restricted to the site owner.

If what the site collects changes, this page is updated. The date below reflects the last revision.
